Job Upload:
This feature will allow you to upload multiple Jobs and Sub-Jobs to HourDoc at the same time. Saving you time if you have multiple jobs and job tiers.
Navigation:
Navigate to Preferences - Jobs and Phases.
Select Upload Jobs from the options on the right hand side.
There are job association options:
- Assign uploaded jobs to all employees: Allows a manager to upload and assign jobs to all employees.
- Assign uploaded jobs to a selected group of employees: Allows a manager to upload and assign jobs to employees within selected groups or combinations of the groups
When selecting Assign uploaded jobs to a selected group of employees the following options are made available:
- Specific employee
- Location
- Department
- Job Title
- Pay Group
When you select/deselect either of the options above, this opens multi-select boxes that will allow you combine different selections across the board.
You will be directed to the Upload Jobs page.
Creating Jobs and Sub-Jobs Using Template:
Select the Download Example link as show above.
An example CSV file will be downloaded.
HourDoc allows up to four job tiers:
- Main Job
- Sub-Job 1
- Sub-Job 2
- Sub-Job 3
This means you can add an additional Sub-Job section to the template if needed.
In the example we have the following:
- Main Job
- Sub-Job 1
- Main Job
- Sub-Job Level 1
- Sub-Job Level 2
Uploading Jobs and Sub-Jobs:
Select the Choose File button.
A popup will be displayed, select your CSV file from the saved location
Select the Submit button.
A summary of the Jobs will be displayed.
To expand select the "+" button.
If you have selected employees through Assign uploaded jobs to a selected group of employees to be assigned to certain jobs the employees are displayed accordingly.
Once you are satisfied with your Jobs, select the Submit button.
The uploaded Jobs and Sub-Jobs are available on the jobs and Phases screen.
