A recently hired, salary employee was setup to automatically clock in. On the day she was setup in the system, the time entry was not automatically created as expected.
The system inserts auto clock in time entries at 12 am on the day of the time entry. In this case, the new employee had been setup on the same day that she was supposed to have her first time entry. Since 12 am had already passed, the system could not create her time entry for that day. The solution is to simply create the first-day time entry manually. Going forward, the system will automatically create the time entries for the employee.
