Adding and Editing Payroll Employee Numbers - Feature Update: HourDoc and WorkSight

The functionality of adding/editing payroll employee numbers is no longer available to managers for accounts that are set to sync with Prism HR as this creates issues when the account attempts to sync with Prism HR.

The employee number is automatically assigned when the employee record is created in the system and it is crucial that it remains unedited.

Should you be experiencing issues with a current payroll employee number please contact the implementation team or your administrators to assist with the issue.

Examples:
Implementation Team Overview:

As an Administrator in the employment tab – “Payroll employee number” will show and be editable.

Click on create new personnel and go to the employment tab – “Payroll employee number” will show and be editable.

Should the clients’ Administrators and Super Managers attempt to make changes to settings in the employment tab – “Payroll employee number” will show and be disabled.

The same is true when creating a new hire.

From the implementation team’s view; when dealing with an onBoarding V2 client and navigating to New Hire, the employment tab – “Payroll employee number” will show and be editable.

If a client logs in – the “Payroll employee number” field is not available
